Intending pilgrims for this year Hajj in Ogun State are to be tested and certified fit for the pilgrimage to the Holy Land before commencement of the exercise.
The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB) will commence the medical tests for the pilgrims from Tuesday, February 25th.
The fitness test which is to be held at the Board's Office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta will end on Friday, February 28th, 2025.
A release signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Ajibola Taiwo, stated that the medical tests was mandatory for all intending pilgrims to ensure the health status and well-being of each pilgrim before embarking on the Holy pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.
It further added that all intending pilgrims were advised to come along with evidence of their payments to the Board’s office.
