Prowess University, USA honours 11 Nigerians with doctorate degrees

An awardee carrying his certificates and flanked by officials of Prowess University and Ecolerite Institute Of Peace Advancement.

Eleven distinguished Nigerians from various walks of life have newly bagged the doctorate awards, Honoris Causa of the Prowess  University, Delaware, USA at a prestigious induction ceremony held last Saturday at the Balogun Subomi Hall of the  the University Of Ibadan.

The ceremony which is the 10th Leadership Summit cum Induction and Honorary Doctorate Degree Award of the Ecolerite Institute Of Peace Advancement/Institute Of Arts Management And Professional Studies in partnership with the Prowess University in Delaware, USA, also had 73 distinguished personalities lined up for the fellowship of the institute.

At the event, two outstanding Nigerians, Dr. Kadir Adesina Osaze and Dr. Edokwe Chinedu were also honored as ECOWAS Youth Ambassadors, having bagged the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award Of Excellence.

The ambassadorial award which were awarded to the duo by the West Africa Youth Council  goes with other appurtenances which include the title as a prefix to their names as an hallmark accolade, special presidential car plate number, identity card and the official certification.

The event, a very formal and momentous gathering was graced by highly placed Nigerians from all walks of life with Professor Eze Nwauba, the African representative of Prowess University, represented by Dr. Ola Olusegun Oyedele, the South West Nigeria Representative and Professor Justice Esibe, his Nigerian counterpart in attendance.

Speaking at the Leadership Summit, the Guest Speaker, Dr Sunday Ogbaji who delivered a lecture themed 'Creativity And Innovation: Panacea For Improved Corporate Performance' insisted that without creativity, there cannot be innovation.

Dr Ogbaji pointed out that an organization or country that failed to harp on innovation would be stagnant. 

Stressing that innovation is the art of bringing new things alive, Dr Ogbaji maintained that governments must strive to inculcate innovation into governance.
