Nigeria has an assured glorious future in tourism, Tunde Kolade, the Vice President (South West) of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has affirmed.
Speaking during a courtesy call on Chief Ganiu Tarzan Balogun, the National President of the Association of Tourist Boat Operators And Water Transporters of Nigeria (ATBOWATON) at his country home in Abeokuta on Monday, the FTAN boss said the country has all it takes to excel in the industry.
He noted that though the way up may be arduous but with perseverance on the path of practitioners, the glory of the future will exceed the present.
The FTAN chieftain pointed out that though the milieu of the nation's economy presently poses a hard stance, he was sure of the resilience of the country's entrepreneurs to prevail at last.
Kolade who was recently reelected the Vice-President (South West) of FTAN, the umbrella body of all associations of tourism bodies in Nigeria said he was in Abeokuta to extend his appreciation to Chief Ganiu Tarzan Balogun for his support towards his reelection in Abuja recently.
He appreciated Chief Balogun, popularly called Tarzan for his staunch support for the industry while assuring him of the excellence of a wholesome and more glorious tourism practice in the country in the future.
In his response, Tarzan congratulated Kolade assuring him of his support but advised the reelected tourism practitioner to buckle up for the task ahead.
Tarzan noted that the excellence of the industry in Nigeria could only be achieved if all hands are on the deck adding that he saw light at the end of the tunnel.
