Olu of Lisa lauds Abiodun for uniform development of Ogun

Olu of Lisa, Oba Oladele Ogungbemi 


The Olu of Lisa, a developing town in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba Oladele Ogungbemi has commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his indefatigable efforts to ensure a uniform development of the state.

Speaking exclusively with some journalists in his palace at Lisa during the week, Oba Odugbemi however advised the governor not to relent but to strive to do more as government is about serving the people selflessly.

The monarch said that he believed that basic amenities are the right of the people which any government worth its while must endeavor to provide for them.

He also urged Governor Abiodun not to stop exploring and taking advantage of the inherent benefits of sharing borders with Lagos State which he described as the nerve center of the country.

Oba Ogungbemi pointed out that Ogun State is the only state in the country that shares land borders with Lagos State adding that since Ogun had abundant land resources, all machineries must be put in place to ensure adequate utilization of these exclusive advantage.

Also noting that Prince Abiodun by his urbane demeanor has captured the heart of the generality of the people and has became the darling of the people, he implored Ogun people to give him their support so that he could serve them more.

According to Oba Ogungbemi: "Governor Dapo is our gov. He is the only one we know for now, let us all support him now so he could serve us more".
