The agreement of how the spoils of office would be shared between the Governorship flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Oladipo Adebutu and his running mate, Adekunle Akinlade who crossed over from the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now in the public domain and is now causing not a little ripples from the general public.

ALLIANCE AGREEMENT
THIS ALLIANCE AGREEMENT is made this day of
JUNE 2022
BETWEEN
HON. (DR) OLADIPUPO OLATUNDE ADEBUTU The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate for 2023 Gubernatorial Elections in Ogun State [For Himself and on behalf of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ogun State
Chapter) of the One Part.
AND
HON. ADEKUNLE ABDULKABIR AKINLADE- The All Progressives Congress (APC)- Gubernatoial Aspirant for 2023
Gubenatorial Elections in Ogun State [For Himself and on
behalf of his All Progressives Congress and Allied Peoples
Movement (APC/APM) Political Bloc in Ogun State] of the
Other Part.
Hon (Dr.) Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu and Hon. Adekunle
Abdulkabir Akinlade are collectively refered to as "PARTIES" and
individually as "PARTY"
E. All actions, moves, and strategies made by the Parfies
pursuant to the realization of this Agreement shall be
made in good faith without any intention to unduly
deprive the interests, rights, or benefits of either party
F. Each Parly shall not be a party to any other agreement
that would restrict the Parties' ability to perform any or
all of their obligations as set forth in this Agreement.
G.This Agreement shall be binding on the Parties and
amendment, supplement or modification can only be
made by way of supplementary Alliance Agreement
which shall be jointly and duly executed by the parties
herein.
H. In the event of any dispute between the Parties with
reference to this Agreement or any mater arising
hereunder, the Parties shall resolve same by amicable
negotiations.
I. This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted
in accordance with the Laws of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
Aliance Agreement to be duly executed as of the date first
set forth above.
7. Twenty (20) Special A ssistant Slots.
8. Five (5) Statutory Board Chairman Slots.
9. Five (5) Local Government Executive Chairman Slots.
B. That Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade, besides his constitutional role as the Deputy Governor, shall be
appointed as the Honourable. Commissioner for Trade
and Investment in a ministry that shall be created to
drive new investments, improved revenue growth, and
development of the state.
Provided that the Deputy Governor shall report directly to the Executive Governor in accordance with extant laws in relation to his official duties and functions of his office as Deputy Governor and Honourable.

C.In furtherance of Clause A and B hereinabove, Hon.
Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade shall mobilize and
deploy his political capital. groups, and other resources
nce of all the candidates toward the successtful emergence of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). particularly to the office of the Governor in Ogun State.
D.Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade shall equally
support, assist, and promote the political interests of
Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu and the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at a times.
WHEREAS:
The parties hereunto express a mutual interest to enter into
this Alliance Agreement to pull their political forces and
resources together for the purpose of winning the 2023
Gubematorial and related elections in Ogun State under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
IN VIEW OF THE ABOVE UNDERSTANDING HEREINABOVE
EXPRESSED NOW THIS AGREEMENT WITNESSETH AS FOLLOWS:
A.In line with this agreement, Hon. (Dr) Oladipupo
Olatunde Adebutu and the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) shall concede the following elective positions;
1. The Deputy Governorship Slot.
2. Ogun West Senatorial Ticket.
3. Two State House of Assembly Tickets (Ogun Central).
Furthermore, upon emergence as the winner of the
Ogun State Gubernatorial Election in 2023, Hon. (Dr)
Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) shall concede the folowing
positions to Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade and his
APC/APM Group:
4. Seven (7) Substantive Commissioner Slots.
5. Fifteen (15) Special Adviser Slots.
6. Twenty (20) Senior Special Assistant Slots.
