National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has received his nomination and expression of interest forms that qualified him to take part in the party’s presidential primary election.
Tinubu returned from Saudi Arabia where he had gone for Umrah on Saturday.
He was presented with the forms by James Faleke, a lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Faleke had purchased the forms on his behalf on Friday at the APC Secretariat, Abuja.
With the APC presidential hopeful are Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu with his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, among others.
Tinubu declared his interest to vie for the presidency in January 2022 after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
He had also toured the Southwest to meet traditional rulers and some key stakeholders. He also toured some parts of the north where he met with key stakeholders to support his ambition.
