He praised Hon. Adisa for dimming it fit to rescue all road users along Lagos/Abeokuta express way,
Mr Ajani noted that the road used to be very destructive to all vehicles plying the road adding that this used to incure the dissatisfaction of all commuters prior to the application of the palliative.
Meanwhile, the executive chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Adisa has thanked the management and staff of Larfage Cement for their quick response to the yearnings of the people.
Adesina said the local government wrote to Larfage Cement plant, Ewekoro about the bad condition of the road particularly at Ayedere Obada Oko river bank and solicited for its intervention which was promptly given.
He noted that the palliatives will alleviate the suffering and pains of road users, pointing out that the failed section of the road, measuring few kilometres with a connecting bridge is the segment of the highway badly affected due to regular hauling of goods from Lafarge Cement factory and others.
He explained that the road is one of the busiest roads in the country as no fewer than 500 heavy-duty trucks ply it every day, noting that: “many innocent Nigerians have died on the road due to the bad condition of the road and its unavoidable accidents".
