Team Ogun has cotinued to prove its mettle at the ongoing National Sport Festival in Edo State as it has won a Gold Medal in Taekwondo, a Silver Medal in Badminton and Bronze Medals in Gunshu Taolu and Jianshu events.
Meanwhile the Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr. Oluwadare Kehinde has charged the team at the ongoing National Sport Festival in Edo State to be good Ambassadors and to continue to put in their best in the competition as Ogun is known for excellence.
Kehinde gave the charge, while paying a solidarity visit to the State contingents, at the Aminu Kano Hall, University of Benin, Benin City, urging them to make the State proud and justify the government’s investment in sports.
He assured them that the State would reward good effort, while their welfare would not be taken for granted.
