Be innovative in governance, Abiodun charges new commissioners

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has charged new members of the state Executive Council to ensure that their various ministries come up with innovative and resourceful approaches for the management of human resources within the public service in order to ensure a successful implementation of our 'Building The Future Together Agenda' and all the programs of development of our dear state.


Prince Dapo Abiodun said this during the swearing-in of Mr. Waheed Odusile and Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu as Commissioners for Information and Strategy and Education, Science and Technology at the Executive Chambers of the Governor's office, Oke-Mosan Abeokuta.


 He also charged them to support the initiative that will further strengthen the position of government amongst the committee of state in the Federation.


Abiodun who enjoined the new appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating their ability to ride above situations and challenges, urged them to remain loyal to the cause of service and humanity.


The state helmsman called on the general public to continue to support the present administration, noting that it was his intent to continue to listen, learn and ensure that his administration remains committed to providing conducive environment for a participatory government


Earlier in their remarks, the new Commissioners appreciated the governor for appointing them as members of the state Executive Council out of a large pool of professionals, pledging that they would not disappoint the government and the people of the state.
