The Commissioner also noted that, work had stopped at other ongoing road projects in the state due to attack on the contractors handling those projects by the EndSARS protesters.

In his words, "The exco has approved 12 new roads for construction across the three senatorial districts of the state. Other projects going on in the state have been given palliative to make it motorable for road users. For instance, the Lagos/Abeokuta, Sango-Ota are federal roads, but that has not stopped the state government from repairing those roads".

"The roads are in bad shape, but that does not stop the state for providing palliative. The contractors were unable to move materials to site due to the protest", he said, adding; "but on permanent solution, Prince Dapo Abiodun has given us the marching order to determine how much will cost to build the roads. Presently, the Governor is talking to FG to take possession of the road."
